Informed by cultural, environmental, and intellectual experiences gained
by travelling the world over the last 40-odd years I am on a continual journey of
discovery. Working primarily in watercolor, and also through photography, I
create images that emphasize interesting composition, tonal contrast, and provocative
color relationships as much as subject matter.I seek to convey the beauty, complexity, and
emotional resonance of the natural and human world, hopefully inviting viewers
to observe more closely and connect more deeply with their environment.
